📜 Terms and Conditions – Baadshah Premier League (BPL)

1. Team Ownership and Registration

• First Year Registration Fee: ₹1 Crore per team.
• From the second year onward, teams and names will be decided by the BPL Committee.
• There is no guarantee of retaining the same team from the first year.
• In the first year, you are the official team owner.
• From the second year, all teams will be available for bidding/sale. Existing owners must participate in the bidding process annually to retain ownership.
• All teams must be registered under a company name. Individual registrations are not permitted.

2. Player Registration Process

• Player Categories:
  • Capped Players – Those who have played at the state level.
  • Uncapped Players – Those without state-level experience.
• Stats must be submitted for all players. Only verified stats will be valid for capped players.
• Total Registered Players: 1,000 (capped + uncapped).
• Top 500 players will be shortlisted, and Baadshah Box will provide performance analysis.
• Player statistics will be shared with team owners 15 days before the auction.

3. Player Auction and Payments

• Higher bidding priority is given to capped players.
• Capped Player Base Fee: ₹1,00,000
• Uncapped Player Base Fee: ₹25,000
• All selected players will receive ₹1,00,000 regardless of team performance.
• Winning Team Prize Distribution:
  • Total Prize: ₹4 Crore
  • ₹3 Crore – Team Owner
  • ₹1 Crore – Distributed among players and staff
  • Player share must be at least 5% and no more than 25% of ₹1 Crore

4. Revenue Sharing Model

• Sponsorship: 50/50 share between BPL and Team Owners
• Ticket Sales: 50% to BPL, 50% to teams
• Merchandise: 50/50 split per team merchandise
• Boundary Rope & Ground Ads: 50/50 split
• Jersey Sponsorship: 50/50 split
• BPL will also operate its own ticketing platform

5. Broadcasting and Advertising

• All matches will be broadcasted on Baadshah Bhai Cinema (official BPL channel).
• Ad Charges:
  • League Matches: ₹5,000 per ad
  • Main Matches: ₹25,000 per ad
• Revenue from ads will be split 50/50 between BPL and teams.

6. Dugouts and Infrastructure

• All dugouts and match-day facilities will be managed and provided by BPL.
• Detailed guidelines will be shared separately.

7. General Notes

• BPL reserves the right to modify team names, player rules, or ownership structure each year.
• All participants must adhere to the BPL Code of Conduct.
• Disputes will be resolved by the BPL Arbitration Panel.

Participant Eligibility

• Minimum Age: 14 years and above
• Medical Fitness: All players must be medically fit and may need to provide a certificate.
• Team Size: 12–14 players
• Team Composition: May require age-specific quotas
• Team Verification: Player identity and eligibility must be verified

Match Rules

• Match format and overs will be defined by Baadshah Box
• Umpires and scorers will be provided by BPL
• Super Over rules will be outlined where applicable

Penalties & Disqualification

• Any form of harassment, misconduct, or discrimination may lead to disqualification.
• Disputes related to eligibility will follow an appeals process.
• Media rights are exclusively held by the league.
